Episode 3: Annie/Jack

Kyo: Hope he didn't turn into Marlon Brando during the shooting of that "Superman" film.

Reference to the first "Superman" film, where the actor in question refused to memorize his lines and demanded that he read his lines from cue cards.

...Jack felt a deep heat permeate his ass and thighs.
Kyo: He's going to need that, too. It does soothe aches and pains, after all.

For those of us in the United States, we know "Deep Heat" by a different name: Icy Hot.

Episode 4: KOF-XXX

(Parts One and Two)

*Sonia flies into a rant after seeing any misogynistic parts of this fic.*

Sonia's ranting is a shout-out to Julia Sugarbaker of "Designing Women". Whereas Julia was nicknamed "The Terminator" for her rants, Sonia was given the title of "The Annihilator" by Sonic and Manic. Just note that from here on out, if Sonia's an active riffer and sees misogyny or misandry, she'll fly into a rant to counter the messages that she sees as toxic (and may or may not explode to boot). Sometimes, the insults may not make any sense, but she'll do her damnedest to get her point across. It's been dormant until this riffing. On the other hand, at least Sonia won't be as preachy.

Benimaru: Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?

This is a rather infamous "Bushism", meaning that this was a weird quote said by George W. Bush.

(Part Two)

Cassy: Emi tasted like honey, Athena tastes like strawberries...

Partial obscure reference to the first chapter of the "Kusanagi's Wrath" riffing.

Benimaru: Hope he doesn't pull a John Green and claim that this has "never happened before" or some crap like that.

Reference to the author's exact words regarding "The Fault In Our Stars", in which he actually wrote... "I just want to point out one thing here: When was the last time the girl kissed the boy in a teen romance? Ever? Has it happened ever? I seriously think it might not have happened ever."

(Part Three)

Emi: So... if he steps in the middle and he gets blasted by their techniques, what should we do?
Sonia: Applaud.

Near reference to the beginning of a "Designing Women" episode, where a car alarm annoys the ladies.

Sonia: It looks almost like the "Puma Man" ending.
Emi: *sings* Now they're going to boff in the air...

Reference to a line that Crow actually sang during the MST3K episode.

Episode 5 - Lust for bust

Benimaru: Well, there's a first. Will it go on for two hours, though?

Obvious call back to "KOF-XXX".
