Episode 12 - New Girl!?

(Part One)

Jessie: *plays her harmonica, sings* I hate you guys...

Jessie: *plays her harmonica, sings* You guys are assholes...

(The second riff is in Part Three.) Jessie's referencing the "South Park" episode "Jakovasaurs".

(Part Two)

Miyu: *sprinkles sawdust on the floor* Feel free to vomit. Manic let me borrow this.

Callback to "Brewdening Love", in which Manic says this: "Uh... next time I riff, I'm going to have a bag of sawdust with me."

Miyu: What's with this author's obsession of "double attacks"? This is worse than the arm fiasco!

Callback to "Sabrina's Adventure".

Cassy: Whoa! She just threw a louder temper tantrum than Princess!

Callback to "Da Princess in da gle club".

(Part Three)

Cassy: *clutches her hair in anger* Shit pickle!

Reference to the 16th part in the Sonic 2006 Let's Play by pokecapn. (To hear the breakfast rant before that, go to the 29:05 mark. To hear the actual line that Cassy screeched, head to the 30:30 mark.)

Kyo: Only one problem... where the hell are we again?
Miyu: In "Sonic Generations".

If you're not entirely sure what this means... think back to the "white space" riff from earlier. Yes, the plot to "Sonic Generations" involves the warping of time and space.

Kyo: Then that's not Sonic. That's a bootleg version of him. Remember when we had to read about the bootleg version of Kyo Kusanagi?

A rather painful callback to "Kusanagi's Wrath".

Jessie: No, Mario Lopez; I didn't become famous for some guy's dong going up my exit hole, and I didn't create a fraudulent wedding.

Reference to the terrible, hypocritical, and (thankfully) canceled "reality" series "H8R" (pronounced "hater", if you didn't know), hosted by the man that Jessie mentioned.

Kyo: Hey, she's hiding something! Grill her "NYPD Blue" style!
Jessie: Just don't drop your pants in the process, sweetie.

A jab at the infamous series. (Note: No pants were dropped during the interrogations.)

Kyo: Thank you for reminding us, Jessica Aensland.

Why is this oddly obscure? Because Kyo compared Jessie to Morrigan Aensland (a popular "Darkstalkers" character).

Kyo: Do any of these dimwits do anything that doesn't involve acting like Tweedledee and Tweedledum clones and getting captured all the damn time?
Cassy: Nope. Emi seems to do a better job when she's shackled up... and she doesn't need a twin.

Yet another callback to the Esaka Destiny "Saga" (third and fourth specials).

Episode 13 - Sabrina's Adventure 2: Return of Sabrina

(Part One)

Jessie: Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down! Who's recapping so fast?
Cassy: Senketsu.

Reference to the 16th episode of "Kill la Kill", where Senketsu wraps up the events that happened up to that point at breakneck speed.

Kyo: Suethor couldn't be assed to use copy and paste, huh?
Miyu: *adjusts glasses* No, that's because Apple didn't invent that with their iPhones yet, Kyo.

Reference to the old iPhone commercials that used to tout copy and paste as revolutionary.

Cassy: Uh-oh. Shermie's back from the dead, and she is pissed!

Reference to the King of Fighters character, who had the ability to control lightning in her Orochi form.

Kyo: Unfortunately, it didn't blind her ass. And great, this tart's back from the dead, so... *gets a saw out*
Miyu: *snatches the saw away* Kyo!
Kyo: Why won't you let me do this to myself, Miyu?
Miyu: Because you need to suffer along with us.

Reference to what Kyo said at the end of the first "Sabrina's Adventure"... "If this tart comes back from the dead, I'm going to lose my head."

Miyu: Um... did Shadow turn into the Native American from that littering commercial?

Cassy: *as Shadow* Why did you litter, Sabrina?

Miyu: Don't litter, ladies and gentlemen.

Miyu: *as Sonic* No! She littered!

All of these riffs reference the infamous littering commercial, where a Native American emitted a single tear from his face. (Miyu's riff where she's pretending to be Sonic is in Part Seven.)

(Part Three)

Miyu: Shadow is now a graduate of the Brian Williams School of Lying.

Current event reference where Brian Williams admitted to lying about being attacked in Iraq.

(Part Four)

Kyo: The sex questionnaire was a lot more exciting than this.

Callback to the "Kusanagi's Wrath" riffing.

(Part Five)

Miyu: I had to wait for over half of this fic for a proper plot? What am I reading here, "Twilight" or "A Story of Destined Love"?
Cassy: We didn't riff that fic, dude.
Miyu: *pushes glasses up* I've analyzed that fic, Cassidy. Trust me, I know about it.

Another reference to Miyu's hosting duties in the "Histories and Mysteries" section.

Jessie: I think I just got diabetes.
Kyo: Want your free cyanide pill, Jess?

Kyo: I just got diabeetus. Time for me to call my own damn company for my own damn cyanide pill.

Callback to Kyo's "LeMaire Medical" riff in the "Kusanagi's Wrath" riffing. (The second riff is in Part Seven.)

Miyu: *holds up a glowing purple hand of hers* I hath telekinesis.

Miyu, of all riffers, has referenced a rather popular quote from the infamous "My Immortal" fanfic.

Cassy: *in her old church choir uniform* Hallelujah, brother! It's a miracle!

Two obscure references in one! It's a callback to the uniforms that Cassy, Sonic, Manic, and Kyo L. wore in the "Brewdening Love" riffing, and Cassy's partially referencing Kusanagi's win quote from "The King of Fighters 2002" and its remake.

Jessie: *as Sabre* I also need it to kill your master. Wait, wrong fanfic.

Kyo: *as Sabre* I want your master's head for what he put me through!

Yet another reference on the Esaka Destiny "Saga" as a whole. (Kyo's riff is in Part Eight.)

(Part Six)

Cassy: They called 1-800-RENT-A-HUT.

Callback to Sonic's riff in "Meet Shyloh" (the Egg Spiral's first fic riffing).

Miyu: So, what's next? Sabre gives Amy a thirty story drop?
Cassy: And then Sonic breaks his arm saving her, even though he and Amy should've died?

Yet another "Kusanagi's Wrath" reference.

(Part Eight)

*Jessie and Cassy temporarily escape the fic with cardboard cutouts of themselves.*

A reference to the MST3K episode "Hobgoblins".

(Part Nine)

*A fish suddenly plops on the table.*

Miyu: Well, yes, but... it's telling us that it's an obvious dead herring. We know that she's not going to die, yet the narrator is telling the goldfish -- I mean -- readers that she's "doomed".

Reference to Das Mervin's "Twilight" sporkings. Specifically, the extremely obvious "Dead Herring".

Axl: Okay, how is Sabrina running on an injured leg?!
James: She's Greg Jennings. She put the team on her back!
Rory: She's the most best Sue!

Reference to a video on YouTube where a person playing Madden 2010 had Greg Jennings run 99 yards on a broken leg.

(Part Ten)

Miyu: Calling Doctor Howard, Doctor Fine, Doctor Howard. Diabeetus levels have spiked in three riffers. Administer medication immediately.

Not only is it another "LeMaire Medical" reference, Miyu's also referencing the Three Stooges film "Men in Black".

Jessie: What? She has no empathy, she might as well be a demon child.

A very dark reference to an actual quote in which E. L. James said that abuse/rape survivors who read her books were "...bringing in whatever baggage they have. And that’s their issue."

Episode 14 - Sonic vs Silkadom (Shorts: Shomo Attack, Slash)

Sonic:What are you going to do about it?!
Jessie: Probably snicker-snag you, I guess. I don't know.

Snicker-snagging is an old stunt where the victim is pinned down and saliva is dangled over his/her face.

Cassy: "Powerful".
*The Black Crow members then fight themselves to try to turn the screen off and nearly break down afterwards*

Oh, it's obvious. The Black Crow members were worried about riffing another "Ultimate" clone. Yes, they will always hate the word "powerful" now.

and then knocked him down to the ground with a bicycle kick
Kyo: *makes turkey noises*

Reference to Liu Kang's infamous bicycle kick in the "Mortal Kombat" series.
