chapter 16

All: Miss Wangst.

He thought he knew, but who could be sure?

All: We know. It's Miss Wangst.
Manic: I love it when fics think that we're this dense. The fic already said that he was gonna marry her in the last chapter!

He finally enter the small but quaint jewelry shop. He was approached by a man in a tux that looked about in his mid thirties.
"Hello, my name is Steven, how can I help you?" He asked politely.
"Um, hi, I'm Randy. I'm looking for an engagement ring."
"Ah, who's the lucky lady?"
"I'm not all that sure yet."

All: *grumbles*

"Ok then, well, what style were you looking for?" Steven looked slightly skeptical.
"Simple yet elegant."
"How about these?" *****
"So, I don't know what I want anymore. I'm just going to let this all happen, right now I'm not going to see Lauren, I can't do that to Colleen." Randy explained to Steven about and hour and a half later.

Amy: You're rambling about your relationship problems to some guy who's showing you engagement rings?
Sonia: If he wants that commission, sure, why not?
Sonic: He's only a step away from making him juggle chainsaws for that commission, huh?
Manic: You mean that he wants him to juggle copies of "The White Hedgehog", "Sealing the Elements", and "Bloody Moon"?
Sonic: I said "chainsaws", not "vials of corrosive acid".

Steven was showing him rings but none had struck Randy's interest. Just then, he pulled out a white gold slender band with a simple but beautiful round diamond.
"That's it. This is the perfect ring. And I know exactly who I want to give it to." Randy smiled widely.

All: It's Miss Wangst!

A/N don't ya just love my cliff hangers?

All: That's not a cliffhanger!
Manic: Man, that's like saying that E.L. James is a good writer!
Amy: I just realized something. How could he afford a ring when once again... he's pressed for money?
Sonic: Meh, I bet you that he got duped. It's Cubic Zirconia.
Manic: So he bought that Diamond-z4 ring?
Sonic: Probably, yeah.

chapter 17

Randy paced back and forth in the park. There was a quiet crack as she stepped on a little twig when she approached.

Sonia: Well, there goes the last remnant of his soul.

He stood up straight and gripped the small box in his pocket.
"Hi." She said when she got closer to him.
"Hi."
"What's all this about?" She asked confused.
"I realized something recently. It took a lot of thinking but when I finally stopped thinking about it, it hit me. I love you."

Sonic: Love. Yeah. Okay. Uh-huh.
Manic: *snickers*

"Randy," she breathed trying to process everything, she felt like she was floating. "I love you too." She threw herself into his arms, afraid she might fall.

Amy: Wait, so are you going to float or fall? This is so inconsistent.
Sonia: If she floats, we can hope that she'll hit the sun. If she falls, we can hope that she'll hit the Earth's core.
Amy: I'd rather wish that on people who are much worse than her, Sonia.
Sonia: I agree.

"There's more." He distanced himself as much as he wanted to hold her close. He then got down onto his knee and he heard her draw in a sharp breath. He pulled out the box and opened it in front of her. "Will you marry me?" He asked. It only took her a few seconds to debate, the answer was so obvious.

Sonic: How 'bout zero seconds? And of course she'd say "yes".

"Oh course I will Randy." Colleen once again fell into him, tears streaming down her face. He slipped the beautiful ring onto her finger and kissed her with all the passion he had in him.

All: Called it!
Manic: Seriously, if this surprised anybody, then I really don't know what the heck they've been reading this whole time.

Sonia: Okay, so who liked this?
Sonic, Manic, Amy: *waves Sonia off*
Sonia: Okay. *writes* "Wasn't liked by four hedgehogs." Got it.

Sonic: Just power through it, Amy. We're almost done here.
Manic: Thank heavens for that, man.

Manic: Oh, I'm sorry. *as he's wiping away tears* It's just that Suethors always had that actress playing their own Sues in fanfics like these.
Amy: So... now they're copying off of each other? How uncreative!
Sonia: They've always copied off of each other. Either that or we're really referencing that duplication episode now.

Sonia: Why is this even a thing, I swear to Christ...
Sonic: I think this may be the most embarrassing thing that we've ever riffed on here.

Bloopers:
"We need to talk, in private." He told her. They went back to the storage room, ignoring the complaining customers and glares. "What is it? What's the matter?" She asked before the door even shut. Suddenly the door came back and hit Jon on the head. He yelped in pain as Kristen tried to hide her laughter. Beep (let's try that again)

Amy: *weakly laughs* Oh, seing someone in pain is absolutely hilarious! And what if a camera falls on him and he gets sent to the hospital?
Manic: Then it's a comedy special. Now laugh, damn it!

"We need to talk, in private." He told her. They went back to the storage room, ignoring the complaining customers and glares. "What is it? What's the matter?" She asked before the door even shut. Jon saw the door swinging back out of the corner of his eye and jumped forward to avoid getting hit again. This also Made Kristen bust out laughing.

Sonic: *tries to force himself to smile* Yeah... not workin' here.
Sonia: Why am I not laughing?
Amy: Because you know what humor is. Oh, and I also just realized that the bloopers for that portion are supposed to mirror the scene where Miss Wangst's father died and she just got the news.
Manic: Ugh. Yeah, that's some dark crap, man.

** "Well, I need to start dinner and Julie has some homework to do so we'll see you at home Randy, nice meeting I have no idea what your name is." Kristen laughed. **

Sonic: I can't tell if that's a subtle dig at Lauren there.
Amy: Well, you did call her the Yuki of the series, so I guess that makes a bit of sense, Sonic.

"I know I should, but, I don't know how, and I don't know what I feel anymore. I just wish I could remember my line." Tim grunted in laughter. Beep (one more time)
"I know I should, but, I don't know how, and I don't know what I feel anymore. I was with Lauren so long, I cared for her like you wouldn't believe," Tim cut him off mid line. "You need to choose, there is no playing games here, you know you can't do that to them."
"Yes, and it'd be easier to choose if I could finish my line."

Manic: And it's much easier to get up now that this darn fic is over.
Amy: Thank goodness.
Sonia: So... now what?
Sonic: I dunno. I guess I'll just sleep it off. I'll be honest; it's not the worst fic that I've read.
Manic: No?
Sonic: No. It's just way too sugary.
Sonia: Huh.
Amy: *while checking her blood sugar levels* Oh, good, it's normal. I actually thought that this fic really did spike my blood sugar for a moment there.
Manic: You'd be dying of that and blood poisoning from all the fics you riffed before this one.
