Episode 7 - The Scar

(Part One)

James: No, he's just preparing for a United flight.

Reference to an incident on a United Airlines flight where a doctor was forcibly removed from a plane... and suffered facial injuries as a result.

Jessie: There's a thing called "teleportation". Let me explain what that is.
Sonic:
No!

Reference to "Outcast Saga", where the Stu du jour held the audience's hands and literally explained what it was. Yes, Sonic was present for that part.

(Part Two)

Jessie: And then Scorpion roasted him alive. Fic's over!
Sonic: I'm not eating that. Scorpion has a bad habit of overcooking everything.
Amy: But his cakes are to die for, Sonic.
Sonic: I hope that's not a literal statement.

Yes, it's another "Cooking with Scorpion" reference.

Mai: She blocked it with ease.
Sonic, Amy, Jessie, Cassy: *groans*
Mai: *smirks* I just wanted to say it.

Yet another "Ultimate" reference.

(Part Three)

Jessie: *singing* Why the fuck you lying? Why you always lying? Mmm, oh, my god, stop fucking lying...

Yes, it's the "Why the fuck you lying?" meme.

Keiko: This must have been how Sonic and Amy felt when they dealt with "Sasha's POV".
Amy: *grumbles as she pulls out her hammer*
Sonic: Amy... put the death weapon away, please.

The hatred's not going away. Yes, Amy was the harshest when those magic words came up, but Sonic and Tails weren't too nice about it, either.

(Part Four)

Axl: Then set him on fire. He'll definitely be hot!
Amy: Sounds like something that I've said before... oh, well. Heh.

Amy did indeed say a line similar to that... much earlier in the season. It was during her riffing on "The New Girl", showing her hatred towards Sasha.

(Part Five)

Sonic: Look, I know that I investigate everything that glows, but dark tunnels are usually not on my list of things to go through.

Two references. The "everything that glows" part is from "Sonic Colors", while the "dark tunnels" portion is actually a proper reference to "The White Hedgehog". (Yes, Sonic and his groupmates still hate the fic to this very day.)

(Part Six)

Cassy: Leeroy Jenkins, ladies and gentlemen.
James: Now I want chicken.

Very obvious reference.

(Part Eight)

Sonic: Mortal Combat? Is that the knockoff bootleg game that has that tiny version of Goro?

Yes, there's a bootleg that has the 7 foot tall Shokan knocked down a foot or two in stature. No, it doesn't make any sense.

Amy: Yikes. Also, remember that Lieutenant Blade's "crime" in her eyes is merely standing next to the Stu.
Cassy: This is some Nu-13 bullshit, dudes.

Reference to the drama CD "BlazBlue: The Wheel of Fortune".

Emi: So that's who was watching him? I guess it wasn't because he was attractive.
Jessie: It's still bad. He's now in the Bella Swan tier of delicious.
Cassy: So he's not just good. He's bacon-y good.

Obviously a "Twilight" reference. It also references how Das Mervin would describe Bella's blood as "bacony" in some of her sporkings.

Emi: To slightly misquote a certain red robot... "Boy, a brain-dead jellyfish can write a better story than this."

Yes, it's slightly misquoted. It references Servo's line from the MST3K riffing of "Space Mutiny".

(Part Eleven)

James: Get to healing, Kiddo.

Reference to "Kill Bill: Vol. 2".

Emi: Just say that you... fell down the stairs.
Sonic, Amy: ...
Emi: Did I say something wrong?
Amy: I know that you didn't mean it, but you accidentally reminded the two of us about that awful fic.
Emi: Oh, no! I'm so sorry!
Sonic: Don't... worry about it... *shudders*

Reference to the infamous "domestic abuse" part in "The New Girl".

Sonic: *flatly* Can't wait to hear about the raging morning wood.
Everyone except Jessie and James: *shudders*

Reference to "Outcast Saga".

(Part Thirteen)

Cassy: Or just steal other people's work, slap your name on it, change the names of the characters...

Obvious reference to two certain plagiarists...

Amy: Well... at least you're not stealing from kids who have cancer.

Oof. A reference to the Orange One's second son... who did just that.

Episode 8 - Miles "Tails" Prower

(Part One)

Miyuki: *as the voice* Leave the Bronx. We have housing available for you in New Mexico.

Reference to "Escape from the Bronx"/"Escape 2000".

Amy: Did he leave a cave or the Mistralton City Gym?

Reference to said Gym in Pokémon Black and White 2, where a fan can blow you out of the gym.

"Then I saw Sonic follow you into the woods, but those woods are way to scary.
Akiko: Besides, she'd just trip over a bush and rip her dress. Kyo-chan told me about that.

This unfortunately happened in "Sabrina's Adventure 2".

(Part Two)

Amy: Angry Amy. Don't you compare me to that evil baking lady!

You already know. "Amy's Baking Company".

Sonia: What the fuck is wrong with you?
Akiko: Kyo-chan?
Sonia: Kyo-chan. Yes.

The infamous line that Kyo said during the riffing of "An Open Letter to Rey from Star Wars". (Sonia and Akiko were his riffmates.)

(Part Three)

Amy: He dodged them with ease.

The millionth callback/reference to "Ultimate".

(Part Four)

The triceratops-robo quickly dashed towards Tails and tried to strike him with his horn, but Tails just easily moved out of the way. The robot tried multiple stab attempts with its horn, but Tails kept easily dodging the horn when it came toward him. Eventually, Tails
Rory: ...aimed for the horn
!

"Pikachu, aim for the horn!" That old infamous reference to the Pokémon anime's many ass pulls.

(Part Five)

Manic: Dude, you sound like a crack addict.
Tomoko:
"Sound like"? He's loaded up on crack, coke, and meth! Hell, let's make it worse! Give that addict some bath salts so he can start eating the general's face off!

Reference to the "Miami cannibal attack" that took place in 2012. Yes, it happened. Yes, it's a disgusting story.

(Part Seven)

Manic: Stop or you'll be injured bad!

Whoo, boy. SNK's early translations weren't good at all. This is an actual quote from Ryo to Team England in "The King of Fighters '94".

(Part Ten)

Manic: Twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!

References Kodos as Bill Clinton in the Simpsons "Treehouse of Horror VII". The full quote? "My fellow Americans. As a young boy, I dreamed of being a baseball. But tonight I say, we must move forward, not backward; upward, not forward; and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom!"

Miyuki: Fic needs a bit more edge for that.
Kyo: Get some of that good old Bludshot.
Sonic:
No.

Bludshot the Hedgehog was a rather infamous Sonic recolor who had the typical bland past... "Eggman destroyed my home and killed my parents". The episodes were done poorly and painted over actual stills from "Sonic X" in the use of MS Paint.

(Part Eleven)

Miyuki: Not our fault that you were too damn horny to notice.
Sonia: Horny simpleton.
Sonic: *snickers*

Reference to another infamous line from "My Immortal"... "STOP IT NOW YOU HORNY SIMPLETONS!"

Amy: Don't make him madder!

Same reference as Cassy from when "The attack of Akuma" was riffed.

Manic, Akiko: *sings* Oh, show me your true ugly... the stranger you move, the sweeter you become...

Manic and Akiko are referencing lyrics from Coheed and Cambria's "True Ugly".

Tomoko: A dragon... that's pretty much named Dragon. *sarcastically claps* Fucking. Original. My sister writes better stuff, and she's seven!
Akiko: It's the raptor that's named Raptor all over again.

Callback to "The Power of Love".
