Hi, it states in the manual for my Penitum 4 Intel motherboard, model D865GLC, that:

"The AGP connector supports 0.8 V (4x and 1x) and
1.5 V (8x) AGP cards."

But while looking for an 8x AGP card online, and
reading several explanations about the differences between 8x/4x and voltages, I've only been able to find reference to 0.8v 8x AGP cards. I assume that a 0.8v 8x card will not work with my 1.5v 8x slot then? I'm having trouble finding a 1.5v 8x card!

Thanks

The manual is wrong.

AGP 8x runs at 0.8v
AGP 4x runs at 1.5v
AGP 1X and 2X both run at 3.3v

Most AGP 8X boards support 8x and 4x cards only, but because 2x cards are no longer sold, that shouldn't be a problem.

Now fully Se7ened.
