Well! Guess you were curious enough to click here, eh? Yeah, I
forgot to add what the editor and I actually know in terms of series. It would
make a lot of sense in the long run.
-The lists are still mostly incomplete. This is just a general rundown of
what we know so far.
The Writer's Specialties
-Sailor Moon (90s anime/Manga/Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon [live action])
-Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle

-Sonic the Hedgehog (SatAM/Sonic Underground/Archie comics [some knowledge of

-Mega Man/Rock Man (Classic series; a bit choppy on the Zero series)

at the moment)
-Twilight/50 Shades Trilogy (I live under the impression that you have to know what
something is before you hate it and that you can't hate things for no reason. I
hate both series with a passion [I actually hate "Fifty Shades" more than
"Twilight"], but I do know them... and they can be
rife with Mary Sues, as you know. And yes, I put "Twilight" and "Fifty Shades"
together because... let's be honest here, E.L. James is a damn plagiarist.)
-Art of Fighting (games)
-Fatal Fury (games)
-Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin (To be honest, I only got into this series
because I'm looking for Mary Sues/Gary Stus. Plus, I can't riff on what I don't
know! Also, we always address this series as "AoT" here. Since
the editor and I are both
gamers, addressing it as "SnK" will instantly make us
think that you're talking about the video game company instead.)
-Freezing (Manga; quit reading after chapter 152 due to boredom. May pick this
up again if there are Stus and Sues around.)

Also: How is "MST 'EM" written?
It's simple, really. All of the riffing parts go through three stages:
-Alpha: I simply go through the work and add the dialogue.
-Beta: I send my riffs to the editor and we look over it together. We
may have large discussions over what works and what doesn't. Some jokes may be
added and some dialogue may be taken out if it's not funny enough or doesn't
make any sense. (Example: In the "Why Men Cheat in the Summer" alpha riffing,
Amy originally had a line about flip-flops being on sale. That got taken out in
an editing and was replaced with the Hedgehog triplets riffing on Charlie
Sheen.)
-Final: I look through the edited work and I may add, modify, or delete extra riffs/lines.
Only "Final" works are posted. (Of course, I'm not perfect, so some typos and
misspellings may get through, even with the magical F7 key! We do try to catch as many errors as we can,
though! That's also why we don't make fun of spelling errors too much in
riffings. Heh.)
