Installation and use
Adapter Teaming
Intel® Server Management and Adapter Teaming are not compatible with each other. A third network adapter is necessary if you require both management and a teamed network interface.

Cooling requirement for Processor Voltage Regulators
The VRM components require a minimum of 200 linear feet per minute (LFM) of airflow.

Enable Hyper-Threading Under NetWare* 6.0
Install Support Pack 1 for NetWare 6.0
Ensure that ACPICA.NLM and ACPIDRV.PSM and ACPIDRV.MDI are in the Startup directory (NWSERVER) on the DOS partition Edit the STARTUP.NCF and comment out (REM or:) the MPS14.PSM that is currently there and put a new line either above or below it that loads ACPIDRV.PSM

Error: "Fan #47 Lower Critical - going low Trigger Reading = 0x00"
Fan #47 is the sixth fan speed sensor on the Intel® Server Board SHG2 and is for processor #2. Re-run the FRUSDR update and ensure to specify only the number of fans installed on the system.

How To Set Up LAN Alerts
Boot to the System Setup Utility (SSU) from either the Service Partition or the System Resource CD supplied with your server board. Select Utilities | System Setup Utility | Platform Event Manager | Configure LAN

The /PAE option must be enabled in the ARC path in the boot.ini file in order for Windows* 2000 to recognize memory above 4.0GB To install Novell NetWare* v6.0 SP1:
Create a 200MB bootable DOS partition on the installation hard drive
Format the partition and create a directory called 'nwupdate'
Copy server.exe from the SP1 directory 'startup' into the 'nwupdate' directory
Launch the Novell NetWare* v. 6.0 install, and select "Use the existing boot partition"
