When the Promise* FastTrack100™ BIOS screen appears, press CTRL+F to go to the setup screen.

Do I need a Terminator When Using a Single Processor?
There is no need to populate a terminator in an unused processor socket when setting up a single processor system.

Error: "Warning - FastTrak does not detect proper interrupts"
Do not press the "Pause" key while the Promise* option ROM is loading.

Error: 4-3-4-1 beep code during POST
Incompatible memory. Use memory from tested memory list.

Error: CMOS Checksum Bad
Clear the CMOS. See the TPS for instructions.

Guidelines for Using the SCSI Y-Cable with Two Backplanes Connected
The Intel® Server Board SE7500CW2 only has one HSBP header and therefore does not support two SCSI hot-swap drive bays on the same channel.

Hyper-Threading support
Hyper-Threading Technology is enabled in BIOS 1.23 or greater.

IDE Connectors and Functions
The Promise* connectors are capable of being configured in a RAID 0, RAID 1, or RAID 0+1 array. The ICH3 controls the black and white connectors. White is the primary connector and black is the secondary connector. The Promise* controller controls the two blue connectors. The connector closest to the corner of the board is the primary connector and the one above it is the secondary connector.

NetWare* 6.0 Installation hangs at "initializing keyboard"
Set the "Legacy USB support" option in BIOS > Advanced to "Disabled".

OS install cannot detect hard drives
A single drive jumpered as slave will allow RAID array creation, but the OS install will fail. Configure single drives as master instead.

Download the INF Update Utility and the Windows* 2000 NIC Driver.

Windows* 2000 Advanced Server recognizes only 4 GB of memory
The /PAE option must be enabled in the ARC path in the boot.ini file in order for Windows* 2000 to recognize memory above 4.0GB (e.g. multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Windows 2000 Advanced Server" /PAE /basevideo /sos).
