Fan Fault Lights Are Always On
Ensure processor fans are connected to J7A2 and J6A1, then clear CMOS clear and the event log VRM module usage

Correct VRM modules for the C440GX+
Use one 5 volt VRM with no secondary processor. Use two 5 volt VRMs for low-powered I/O cards, or one 5 volt and one 12 volt VRM if using I/O cards with a high power draw.

Adaptec ARO-1130U2* is not detected in PCI slot 4
After installing the hardware, boot the diskette provided with the card that says "Boot . . . immediately after hardware installation." This disk will load the Adaptec BIOS/firmware and instruct you to use "A" or "B" diskette during OS installation.

Technical Advisories
TA-403: Having Hard Drives Marked Off-Line
Intel® has found that RAID controllers may simultaneously mark multiple drives as failed on the above listed chassis and platforms. Drives will not operate when marked as failed. This issue has been seen while running a disk stress test with various RAID controllers and Ultra 160 drives. The problem is potentially present in all Hot Swap Controller (HSC) RAID configured applications, but it is believed that higher SCSI bus speeds increase the probability of the problem (i.e., Ultra 160 is at higher risk than Ultra 2).
