NT Server 系統上的檔案。 Service Pack 檔案具有累積性: 內容包含了先前的軟 體錯誤修正。 1.1 Service Pack 3 新功能 --------------------------------- [RPC 傳輸] 這份 service pack 包含了新版本的遠端程序呼叫 (RPC) 執行階段的動態連結程式庫 (DLL) 及 RPC 子系統 服務 (Rpcss.exe)。這些變更增強了對 RPC 訊息佇列的支援 ，這項支援也包含在即將上市的 Microsoft Message Queue Server (MSMQ)。要在Windows NT 4.0 上使用RPC 用戶端/伺服器訊息佇列的話，您必須在用戶端及伺服器上 都安裝 Service Pack 3 。也要在用戶端及伺服器上都安裝 MSMQ 測試版或最新的版本。 如果您正在開發支援 安裝之前，請務必閱讀這份注意事項。 下載 Service Pack 之後。您必須將在硬碟上的執行檔解壓縮， (例如: nt4sp3_i.exe)，請在 DOS 模式中鍵入 nt4sp3_i.exe，或 在 [檔案總管] 中將檔案按兩下。如果您只想將檔案解壓縮， 不想進行安裝的話，請在 DOS 模式中使用 /x 參數 (例如: 在 DOS 模式中鍵入 nt4sp3_i /x)。 2.0 WINDOWS NT 4.0 SERVICE PACK 3 安裝步驟 --------------------------------------------------------------- 2.1 在安裝 Service Pack 之前 --------------------------------------- 在安裝 Service Pack 之前，請關閉所有使用中的偵錯工作， Internet Explorer 4.0 測試版，請務必移除 Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 測試版，再進行 Service Pack 安裝。 完成 Service Pack 安裝後，您可以再重新安裝 Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0。如果您之前安裝的是 Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 的正式發行版本，就不需有這些操作。 如果您使用的是預先安裝了 Windows NT 4.0 版的 NEC Versa 6050 或 6200 系列 筆記型電腦，則當 Service Pack 3 的 update.exe 詢問您是否要取代 hal.dll 檔案時，應該選取「是」。 如果您執行 SystemSoft 的 CardWizard for Windows NT (支援 PCMCIA) 或 PowerProfiler for Windows NT (支援 Advanced Power Management)， 您必須先完成關鍵性的預先安裝程序，才能安裝 Service Pack。 否則您的電腦很可能在裝完 Service Pack 之後，再也不能開機。 您可以到 http://www.systemsoft.com 參考安裝步驟。 Windows NT 4.0 版並不支援 之後，您又使用 Windows NT 緊急修復 磁片來修復您的Windows NT 系統的話，修復完成後，您必須重 新安裝 Service Pack 。因為緊急修復磁片會將您的電腦還原到安裝 Service Pack 之前的狀態。 3.2 新增系統的新元件 --------------------------------------- 如果在安裝 Service Pack 之後，您變更或新增系統上的軟硬體元件， 您必須重新安裝 Service Pack，因為您是從原來的 Windows NT 4.0 檔案 進行元件安裝，它們跟 Service Pack 的檔案不一樣。您無法直接從 Service Pack 安裝元件 (如新的鍵盤或印表機驅動程式)。您必須先從 原來的 Windows NT 4.0 套件安裝元件，再重新安裝 Service Pack。 注意: 如果您在變更或新增系統上的軟硬體元件後，重新安裝 Service Pack 的話，請選擇重新建立新的解除安裝目錄，請記得按 [是，我要建立 解除安裝目錄] 選項。 3.3 從光碟片安裝符號檔案 ------------------------------------------------- 每個 Windows NT 檔案都有相對應的符號檔案，用來尋找 核心 STOP 錯誤原因。請遵照下列步驟來安裝符號檔案。 (我們假設您的 CD-ROM 代號是 D:， 符號檔案位於 C:\WINNT\SYMBOLS 目錄，您的機器是 x86 電腦): XCOPY /S /U /D D:\SUPPORT\DEBUG\I386\SYMBOLS C:\WINNT\SYMBOLS 它會將 Service Pack 3 .dbg 覆寫現存版本的檔案。上述的 XCOPY 指令 只會複製已安裝過的.dbg 檔案 (/U 參數)，及有最近時間戳記的檔案 (/D 參數)。 3.4 遠端存取服務 PPP CHAP MD5 認證支援 ------------------------------------------------------------ Service Pack 3 提供有限的 PPP MD5-CHAP 認證支援給遠端存取伺服器， 適用於使用者數量不是很多並使用非 Microsoft PPP 撥接用戶端的環境。 這是給指定 RAS 伺服器的本機支援。MD5 帳戶資訊儲存在 RAS 伺服器登錄 中，不用與使用者管理員帳戶資料庫整合或同步。整合支援將會包含在 下一個版本。 您可以建立 MD5 密碼來啟用本機 MD5-CHAP 認證程式，用格式: [:]，及包含在帳戶密碼中子值 "Pw" 來新增 帳戶子密碼。根據登錄機碼規則， ":" 符號是用來取代 "\"， 'domain:' 可以省略。 如果 MD5 密碼不存在的話，MD5-CHAP 無法 進行商議。 HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\RasMan\PPP\CHAP\MD5 [:](REG_SZ)Pw 3.5 Microsoft DHCP 伺服器 -------------------------- 這一版的 Microsoft DHCP 伺服器修改了 DHCP 資料庫格式。 在更新前，請備份 %windir%\system32\dhcp 目錄下的所有內容。 位址衝突偵測功能可減低 Microsoft DHCP 伺服器錯誤。 請在 [伺服器內容] 對話方塊中降低 ping 重試次數，以增加系統效能。 這項功能預設為停用。 當位置有衝突時，機器名稱會變成 "BAD_ADDRESS"。如果唯一識別碼 被指定給 [用戶端內容]
