  These drivers are the same as those shipped with SNA Server 2.11, and work on 2.1.

Description of update:

Update to solve hang problem when activating an SNA Server connection 
over an IBM MPA/A adapter which occurs on some IBM PS/2 machines.  The 
special registry setting documented below can be tried if the hang
persists with this new driver applied.

Also, in certain instances, PS/2 computers equipped with an IBM MPAA 
adapter (or the Microgate equivalent) can freeze when the server is 
activated. If this happens, you must replace the existing IBMSYNC.SYS 
driver with a version named IBMSYNC._SY above.

  copy ibmsync._sy ibmsync.sys
  cd hwsetup\ibmsdlc
  rename ibmsync.sys ibmsync.211
  copy ibmsync._sy ibmsync.sys


Applying the update:

- Stop the SNA Server service

- Rename the old ibmsync.sys driver to IBMSYNC.OLD

- Copy in the attached ibmsync.sys to the <snaroot>\system
  directory.

- Perform a full shutdown and restart to reload the new driver.

Optional:

- Add the following registry setting using REGEDT32:

  Focus on:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IBMSYNC\Parameters

  Add the following value:

     DontUseMapRegisters: REG_DWORD: 1 (hex or decimal)
