Introduction
------------

The disk provided with this application note contains SETUP.EXE, a
replacement for the SETUP.EXE file that is included with Microsoft
Mail for Windows version 3.0b. The replacement file provides
additional enhancements to the original SETUP.EXE file that resolve a
problem that can occur when you attempt to set up Mail for Windows to
run from a network file server.

To Replace Your SETUP.EXE File
------------------------------

1. Insert the enclosed WA0722 disk in your floppy disk drive.

2. At the MS-DOS command prompt, type the following and press ENTER

     copy <drive>:\setup.exe <destination>

where <drive> is the floppy disk drive containing the WA0722 disk
and <destination> is the drive and directory where your SETUP.EXE
file currently resides. For example, if SETUP.EXE is located in the
MAILEXE directory on drive C and the WA0722 disk is in drive A,
   type the following command:

     copy a:\setup.exe c:\mailexe

A message will be displayed stating: "1 file(s) copied" (without
the quotation marks). This indicates that your SETUP.EXE file has
   been successfully replaced.
