Recommendation (Designed for Microsoft® Windows® Logo)
If the application requires updated system DLLs or other core components, include a package provided by Microsoft that handles installation of these components.
Applications are strongly discouraged from installing system components by any means other than Microsoft-provided update packs.
Microsoft will distribute all new DLLs by means of component update packs only. Vendors should distribute these packages from Microsoft rather than the latest DLLs themselves.
