Editing a Configuration File

Editing a configuration file means going back through the configuration process. Change only the settings that need editing; all other settings will remain the same.

To edit a configuration file

  1. Open the ASF Real-Time Encoder.
  2. On the File menu, click Open and select the .asd file that you want to edit.

The configuration file loads and you will be at the Start panel, ready to start the encoder.

  3. On the Edit menu, click Properties.

    The Input Source screen appears.

  4. Go through the configuration process and make any changes you want. All other settings will remain as they were.
  5. When you get back to the Start panel after making all your edits, on the File menu, click Save. This will save your changes to the configuration file.
