Each channel can be associated with one or more clients. Clients can be the NetShow Real-Time Encoder, other NetShow Channel Managers, or NetShow Channel Managers. Clients can also be NetShow Players connected through the MSBD protocol; essentially all clients are connected through the MSBD protocol.
