Starting and Stopping a Program

Starting a program starts the first stream in the program. When the first stream ends the next begins. The program ends when the last stream has finished. If you have set up the program to repeat, the program then restarts automatically.

Before you multicast a live RTP audio program, check that the correct sound source is set and that the sound volume is adjusted for the best sound quality. For more information on setting the sound source and volume, see Setting the Sound Source and Volume.

To start a program

  1. Under Programs, click Manage Programs.
  2. Click to select the program you want to start.
  3. Click Start on the Program menu.

Stopping a program stops the multicast. Clients who are listening to RTP live audio, for example, stop receiving the audio.

To stop a program

  1. Under Programs, click Manage Programs.
  2. Click to select the program you want to stop.
  3. Click Stop on the Program menu.
