Archiving a Program

When you exit and restart NetShow Administrator, the programs you have created persist. Archive a program when you want to remove it from the system but keep it available to reuse it later. When you archive a program, it is saved as a NetShow program file with an .nsp file extension.

To archive a program

1. Under Programs, click Manage Programs.
2. Click to select the program you want to save.
3. Click Archive on the Program menu.

   The Save As dialog box appears.

4. Locate the folder in which you want to save the archived program file.
5. In the File Name box, type a name for the file.

   You do not need to type the file name extension. By default, the .nsp extension is added to the file name automatically.

   Archiving a program does not remove it from the program list.

6. Click Save.
