Creating a Program


To create a program, give the program a name and set program options such as the number of times it repeats, and then add the streams you want to multicast to the program.

To create a program

  1. Under Programs, click Manage Programs.

  2. Click New on the Program menu.

    The New Program dialog box appears.

  3. In the Name box, type a name for the program.

    A name is optional.

  4. In the Description box, type a description for the program.

    A description is optional.

  5. In the Author box, type the name of the program's author.

    Author is optional.

  6. In the Copyright box, type copyright information for the program.

    Copyright is optional.

  7. In the Play Options area, type the number of times you want the program to play in the Play Time(s) box. By default, the setting is 1. The program plays through once. If you want the program to repeat until you manually stop it, click Play Forever.
  8. To stop the program when an error occurs, click the Stop Program On Error box. By default, when a stream fails to play, the program continues and attempts to play the next stream in the series.
  9. Click OK.
