The following table describes the codecs available in the NetShow v2.0. Because Microsoft® NetShow™ uses the standard ACM/VCM Windows mechanism, the codecs installed are also available for use by other Windows applications, such as Sound Recorder, Media Player, and many other multimedia software programs.
