SUMMARY

You cannot directly configure your joystick in Flight Simulator for Windows, you
must first configure your joystick using the Joystick icon in the Windows 95
Control Panel:

1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Joystick.

3. Configure your joystick as desired.

SETTING THE JOYSTICK AS THE CONTROL TYPE
----------------------------------------

Once the joystick is configured, set the Joystick as the Control Type and turn it
on in Flight Simulator 95, as follows:

1. On the Options menu, click Preferences.

2. Click the Controls Tab.

3. Set the Control Type to Joystick.

4. Click the Joystick On button.

MORE INFORMATION

Certain joysticks such as the Virtual Pilot Pro require an additional driver for
compatibility with Windows 95. You can obtain these additional drivers from the
manufacturer of the joystick.
