If your OS is WindowsME and you decide to install VIA_LAN drivers, 
the procedures are listed as follows.

1. Connect the cable, start Windows ME.  

2. Double-click the System icon in the Control Panel.

3. Click the Device Manager tab.

4. Double-click the "PCI Ethernet Controller".

5. Click Reinstall Driver. The Update Device Driver Wizard appears,and click Next.

6. Select "Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now".
   Make sure CD PRO or disk is in the drive, and click Next.

7. Select the "specify a location" (CDROM:\LAN\VIA_LAN\Wme) 
   and continue to click Next until the driver files are copied.

8. When Windows has finished copying drivers, click Finish and restart your system.
