        Win98

        1. Click on Start
        2. Select Settings
        3. Select Control Panel
        4. Double click on System icon
        5. Click on Device Manager tab
        6. Click on View devices by Type button
        7. Click on "PCI Multimedia Device."
        8. Click on Remove
        9. Click on Refresh
        10. Windows 98 will launch the Add New Hardware Wizard. This Wizard searches for new drivers for PCI
            Multimedia Device. Select Next.
        11. Ensure that the following choice is selected:
            Select for a better driver than one your device is using now
            (Recommended)
        12. Select Next
        13. Windows 98 will list locations from where the updated driver file can be found.
            Ensure that the following
            choice is selected:
            Specify a location: "CDROM:>AUDIO\Intel810\SigmaTel\Win9598"
        14. Select Next
        15. Windows 98 should display that the following driver has been found:
            SigmaTel (R) 82801 AA/AB AC'97 Audio Controller : SigmaTel Codec
        16. Select Next
        17. Follow the Install Wizard to insert Win98 CD
        18. In the process need to Install the file "ICHAUDIO.SYS"
                   You can get it from "CDROM:>AUDIO\Intel810\SigmaTel\Win9598"
        19. Select Finish and reboot your computer
