1 Compaq KAP Fortran/OpenMP Kit

Version 4.3 of Compaq KAP Fortran/OpenMP is a maintenance release and does not include any new functionality. Details of the changes can be found in the Release Notes. Version 4.3 completely replaces the previous version.

The Fortran77 components of KAP Fortran/OpenMP have not been modified. The installation script installs these components for compatibility and migration reasons, but the commands kf77 and kapc are no longer available. Please see the Release Notes for details.

This software requires DIGITAL UNIX Version 4.0D - 4.0E or Compaq Tru64 UNIX Version 4.0F, 5.0, or 5.0A and the Developers ToolKit (SPD 44.36).

Compaq Fortran 5.3 or later is a prerequisite layered product for Compaq KAP Fortran/OpenMP.

The installation of Compaq KAP Fortran/OpenMP requires 15 MB of disk storage.

Compaq KAP Fortran/OpenMP for Tru64 UNIX is available on the Tru64 UNIX Layered Products CD-ROM. It is also available as an individual product option. The order number is QA--4GAAA--H8.4.3.

The documentation is also available on the Tru64 UNIX Online Documentation Library CD-ROM. You can access the online document in HTML format through your Netscape browser.

3 Compaq KAP Fortran/MP for Tru64 UNIX Release Notes

The release notes contain important instructions, a summary of changes and new features, and other relevant information. Please review the release notes before you install and start using the product. After installation, the release notes can be found in

/usr/opt/KF9BASE430/KF9430_release_note.txt.
