9.1 Listing Switches

The -listoptions command switch tells KAP what information to include in the listing and error files. The listing and error files can contain any combination of the following messages about the optimizations performed, identified by the single-letter switches listed. The following sections present examples of the output selected by these switches.

The following listing examples used DIGITAL KAP for DEC Fortran for DIGITAL UNIX default switch values, except -listoptions=cklnopst :

• Original program listing (default)

• Calling tree of the entire program

• KAP switches used listed after each program unit

• Loop table after each program unit

• Print program unit names in error file as they are processed

• Compilation performance statistics

• Loop summary table

• Transformed program listing
