It creates four diskettes. The NSSD diskettes contain NetWare and IntranetWare drivers, NetWare Loadable Modules (NLMs), and support information to optimize the performance of NetWare and IntranetWare on Compaq servers. This software enhances the performance of Compaq options such as Compaq Drive Array controllers, Compaq 32-Bit SCSI-2 controllers, Compaq SCSI Tape drives and Compaq CD-ROM drives. The readme files for NSSD are available as a WINHELP file, located on diskette #2. The WHATSNEW.RDM file, found on diskette #2, contains detailed information about the updates, new features, and fixes in this version. Refer to the WHATSNEW.RDM file for specific driver names and version numbers. HOW TO USE 1. Obtain four(4) formatted 1.44 MB diskettes. 2. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory. The file that is downloaded is an executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above. 3. From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be prompted to insert the formatted diskettes in a drive to create the diskettes. 4. After the diskettes have been created, you may delete the SoftPaq file downloaded in step 2. 5. For installation instructions, refer to READ1ST.RDM and WHATSNEW.RDM on the created diskettes.
