iPAQ handheld)

HOW TO USE:
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

3. On the iPAQ handheld, delete the existing "HP GPS Navigation System" by
completing the following steps:

a. Tap Start, then tap Settings, then tap System, and then tap Remove
Programs.

b. Tap "HP GPS Navigation System," and then tap Remove.

NOTE: If a warning that files are still in use is displayed, ignore
it, and tap OK.

c. Tap YES to confirm removal.

4. On the host PC, execute the file C:\IPAQ\SP34652\setup.exe. Highlight the
button for "Repair," and then Tap Next and Finish.

5. Establish an ActiveSync connection between the iPAQ Pocket PC and the
host PC.

6. In the Microsoft ActiveSync window on the host PC, tap Tools, and then
tap Add/Remove Programs.

7. Click the box beside "HP GPS Navigation System" to reinstall the updated
application to the iPAQ handheld, and then Tap OK.
