forcedeth driver for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 Update 4.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 
Complete the following steps to download and unpack the SoftPaq files:

1. Download the .tgz file to your local hard drive.

2. Unpack the .tgz file by using the following command:
'tar -xvzf xw9300_WOL_rhel4.4_SP*.tgz''.

The following files are unpacked:

- i686/nvlan-rhel4.4-0.60-2.20.i686.rpm
- x86_64/nvlan-rhel4.4-0.60-1.20.x86_64.rpm
- source/forcedeth.c

To apply the SoftPaq, complete the following steps:

1. After the installation is complete and the system has booted, the network 
driver can be updated (this driver resolves a known issue with Wake-on-LAN). To 
update the network driver, select the appropriate rpm from those provided, and 
install the rpm using the following command:
# rpm -ivh nvlan-rhel.rpm

2. Reboot the system.

3. To verify that the system loaded the new forcedeth driver, issue the 
following command:
# grep "Version 0.60" /var/log/messages.

If the command returns a string containing the following text, the driver has 
been updated:
"forcedeth.c: Reverse Engineered nForce ethernet driver. Version 0.60-Driver 
Package V1.20"
