This set of files is an electronic update of the Network Server Adapters and Upgrade Modules Software and Documentation CD that came with the server adapter. ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES: The Windows teaming software in this package now supports: - Blade I/O Port Mapping. For blade systems, this software now displays the Enclosure Switch Bay number and Switch Port number instead of the Slot/Port number identifiers provided for non-HP BladeSystem adapters which makes identifying HP BladeSystem adapters easier. - Dual Channel Network Fault Tolerance. This software now supports the following new team types: - Switch-assisted Dual Channel Network Fault Tolerance (INP) - Switch-assisted Dual Channel NFT and Preference Order (INP) - 802.3ad Dynamic Dual Channel Network Fault Tolerance (INP) - 802.3ad Dynamic Dual Channel NFT and Preference Order (INP) - Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP). This software now supports LLDP, an IEEE industry-standard discovery protocol, which allows you to discover nearby network hardware. Support of this protocol allows you to use it on some newer switches instead of the Cisco Discovery Protocol. - Disabling Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI). This software now provides the ability to disable IPMI. This software package contains Linux iSCSI Boot software for non-c class Blade servers. Many of the drivers in this package have been renamed.
