DESCRIPTION:  This softpaq contains the firmware image file (sj02_32rt.bin) for the Server Blade and Power Management Module Firmware Version 2.32. 
These modules manage the power subsystem within the ProLiant BL p-Class infrastructure
        
Enhancements/Fixes:

1. Fixes an issue where intermittent false power supply redundancy messages are posted in the IML log. 
Caution: "Power Enclosure Power Supplies not Redundant (in Breaker, Enclosure Serial Number xxxxxxxxxx)"
Repaired: "Power Enclosure Power Supplies not Redundant (in Breaker, Enclosure Serial Number xxxxxxxxxx)"

The HP Proliant Rack Infrastructure Interface Service CpqRIIS may also log a Caution & Repaired power supply redundancy  event.


HOW TO USE:
 
1.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change
    to that directory.  The file that is downloaded is SP33631.EXE.

2.  From that drive and directory, execute the downloaded SoftPaq file:
      SP33631[ENTER]
    and follow the on-screen instructions. The following files will be
    created:
     sp33631.cva
     readme.txt
      sj02_32rt.bin

3. After the files have been unpacked, you may delete the self-extracting file 
downloaded in step 1.

HP Lights-Out Drivers and Agents

For Windows Operating Systems:
HP ProLiant Rack Infrastructure Interface Service
HP ProLiant Integrated Lights-Out Management Interface Driver 

 
Installation  

Note: The flash process can take up to 20 minutes. 

Place the firmware image file (sj02_32rt.bin) on a ProLiant BL p-Class Server Blade. 

For Linux Operating Systems:

To flash all Management Modules, execute the following command: 

cpqblru -a sj02_32rt.bin

For more options, refer to the manpage by executing the command:
man cpqblru

For Windows Operating Systems: 

Click on Start -> Programs -> HP System Tools -> HP ProLiant BL rack upgrade utility
Click on Browse to select the firmware image
Select the enclosures you wish to upgrade.
Click Start to begin the flash process.
