DESCRIPTION:
This package contains a flash utility and firmware update for Adaptec SCSI RAID 
2120S Controllers installed in the listed workstations and operating systems. 
The Adaptec SCSI RAID 2120S Controller is an Ultra320, single-channel SCSI RAID 
controller. 

NOTE: The Adaptec SCSI RAID 2120S Controller is not supported on the HP xw9300 
Workstation when it is running the Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 
Edition Operating System.

This firmware is only for Adaptec ASR2120S SCSI RAID Controllers having Part 
Number AS#325447-004 (the part number is printed on a label that is affixed to 
the back of the controller card).

NOTE: Adaptec ASR2120S SCSI RAID Controllers having Part Numbers AS#325447-001, 
AS#325447-002, or AS#325447-003 and Version 8206 firmware, do not need the 
firmware upgraded.

RESTART THE COMPUTER DURING THE UPGRADE PROCESS!

1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file.

3. Follow the instructions provided in readme.txt file.
