INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Make a 
note of the location where the SoftPaq contents are extracted (the default is 
C:\SWSETUP\SP33718). 

UPDATING THE DRIVER:
To update the driver, complete the following steps:

1. Open the Device Manager. (Click Start, Settings, and Control Panel, and then 
select System. Click the Hardware tab to select it, and then click the Device 
Manager button.)

2. Click the Plus sign (+) located to the left of the SCSI and RAID controllers 
entry to expand the entry. 

3. Click the LSI Adapter, SAS 3000 Series, 8 port with 1068e entry to highlight 
it.

4. Open the Device Properties. (From the Action menu, select Properties.)

5. Click the Drivers tab, and then click the Update Driver button. Browse to 
the location of the extracted SoftPaq files and follow the prompts to update 
the driver.

6. If prompted, restart (reboot) the workstation.

NOTE: After the installation is complete, the download directory can be 
deleted, if desired.
