INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 
1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive.

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions. Make a 
note of the location where the SoftPaq contents are extracted (the default is 
C:\SWSETUP\SP33717). 

UPDATING THE DRIVER:
To update the driver, complete the following steps:

1. Open the Device Manager. (Click Start, Settings, and Control Panel, and then 
select System. Click the Hardware tab to select it, and then click the Device 
Manager button).

2. Click the PLUS sign (+) located to the left of the SCSI and RAID controllers 
entry to expand the entry. There should be three NVIDIA nForce 590/570/550 
Serial ATA controllers listed.

3. Click the first NVIDIA nForce 590/570/550 Serial ATA controller to highlight 
it.

4. Open the Device Properties. (From the Action menu, select Properties.)

5. Click the Drivers tab and make a note of the driver version, for example 
5.10.2600.xxxx (where xxxx is the latest version number). If the driver version 
is not 5.10.2600.0686, continue to step 6. If the driver version is 
5.10.2600.0686, return to step 3, select the next NVIDIA nForce 590/570/550 
Serial ATA controller in the list, and repeat steps 4 through 7, as needed.

6. Click the Update Driver button, browse to the location of the extracted 
SoftPaq files, and follow the prompts to update the driver. Recheck the driver 
version for the controller to ensure that it is now version 5.10.2600.0686.

NOTE: If you are prompted to restart (reboot) the workstation, select "No" 
until all of the NVIDIA nForce 590/570/550 Serial ATA controllers have been 
updated to the latest driver version (5.10.2600.0686).

7. Repeat steps 3 through 6 until the driver for all the NVIDIA nForce 
590/570/550 Serial ATA controllers has been updated. 

8. When all of controllers have been updated to driver version 5.10.2600.0686, 
restart (reboot) the workstation.

NOTE: After the installation is complete, download directory can be deleted
