Notes - IMPORTANT: After upgrading to the ProLiant ML150 G2 BMC Firmware v1.23 the BMC may not be recognized during POST when connecting the server to AC power and immediately powering on. Upgrading the ML150 G2 system ROM to version 1.54 or later will prevent this issue. NOTE: Secure Socket Layer, Secure Shell and virtual floppy enhancements are available as LO100 technology previews with this firmware release. This allows customers to evaluate and use these features at no extra charge for an unlimited timeframe on ProLiant ML150 G2 servers. New Features - ProLiant ML150 G2 Lights-Out 100i Ver. 1.23 =========================================== None. Problems Fixed - ProLiant ML150 G2 Lights-Out 100i Ver. 1.23 =========================================== Resolved an issue where the serial port would hang if you powered down the server and then exited the BMC session. Added improved error checking when flashing firmware using a TFTP server. Flash mode will not be entered if an invalid or missing filename is specified when using a TFTP server to flash firmware. Resolved an issue with the SMASH CLP "oemhp_dhcp_enable" field displaying incorrect values. Removed the SMASH CLP "reset" verb from the CLP target directories. Changed the SMASH CLP command prompt to "/./->". Resolved an issue where the server would not PXE boot with the Lights-Out 100 card present. Resolved an issue where the IPMI session privilege level was getting limited to "user". This could prevent customers from executing some commands such as power down. Known Problems - If the user tries to remotely establish a remote console EMS connection with a server running Windows 2003 SP1, the session will disconnect the first time this is attempted. Subsequent attempts to establish and log in to EMS will work. Will be fixed in an upcoming maintenance release. HOW TO USE: 1. Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette. 2.
