DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated firmware images
               for the latest releases of HP ProLiant ML150 G2
               Lights-Out 100i Remote Management.


Notes - 


     IMPORTANT: After upgrading to the ProLiant ML150 G2 BMC Firmware v1.21 
                the BMC may not be recognized during POST when connecting the server 
                to AC power and immediately powering on.  Upgrading the ML150 G2 
                system ROM to version 1.54 or later will prevent this issue.

          NOTE: Secure Socket Layer, Secure Shell and virtual floppy enhancements 
                are available as LO100 technology previews with this firmware release. 
                This allows customers to evaluate and use these features at no 
                extra charge for an unlimited timeframe on ProLiant ML150 G2 servers.

	     1. Added support for SSL Encrypted browser communication.

	     2. Added support for SSH Encrypted command line interface communication.

	     3. Added support for DMTF SMASH Command Line Protocol.

	     5. Added support for Operator user account.

 	     6. Added minor changes to the HTML user interface to improve 
 	        clarity and consistency.


Problems Fixed -


        ProLiant ML150 G2 Lights-Out 100i Ver. 1.21
        ===========================================

           
	     1. Resolved an issue turning the server off via the Lights-Out 100 
	        functionality after using the halt command in Linux will now 
	        power off the server in addition to shutting the OS down.


Known Problems -
 
	     1. If the user tries to remotely establish a remote console EMS 
	        connection with a server running Windows 2003 SP1, the session 
	        will disconnect the first time this is attempted.   
	        Subsequent attempts to establish and log in to EMS will work.  
	        Will be fixed in an upcoming maintenance release.


								  
HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP32044.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP32044 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP32044.EXE if you wish.
