DESCRIPTION:
This package contains the firmware (BIOS ROM image) and the local and remote 
BIOS flash utilities for NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400 Graphics Cards in the listed 
workstation models and operating systems.

NOTES:
- After applying this video BIOS to a NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400 Graphics Card (HP 
Part Number 365891-001) having video BIOS 5.40.02.17.02, the hardware subsystem 
ID changes from 0x01FF10DE to 0x029B10DE. As a result of this change, the 
operating system redetects the video card and an updated driver must be 
installed. This change does not affect NVIDIA Quadro FX 3400 Graphics Cards 
having HP Part Numbers 365891-002 and 365891-003 (or later).
- Microsoft Windows users must install driver version 61.82 (or later).
- Linux users must install driver version 66.28 (or later).

HOW TO USE: 
This package includes the following methods for updating the video BIOS:

- Use WinFlash32.exe and WinFlash64.exe to update the video BIOS directly in a 
Microsoft Windows environment.
- Create a bootable video BIOS CD.
- Create a bootable video BIOS diskette.
- Create a bootable USB Flash device.
- Use System Software Manager (SSM) or HP Client Manager Software (HPCMS) to 
remotely update the video BIOS.

1. Download the SoftPaq .EXE file to a directory on your hard drive. 

2. Execute the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to update 
the video BIOS.

3. Once the video BIOS update is complete, restart the workstation.
