DESCRIPTION:   This release provides updated system ROM images
               for the latest maintenance releases of
               ML310 Servers.


New Features -


        ProLiant ML310 ROM D12 (02/17/2003)
        ============================================

                Added a new ACPI Power Button feature to the ROM Based Setup 
		Utility (RBSU). This feature allows the user to disable the 
		ACPI Power Button, causing an ACPI OS to ignore power button
		events.

                Added support for Microsoft Windows Server 2003.


Problems Fixed -


        ProLiant ML310 ROM D12 (02/17/2003)
        ============================================

                Allowed PCI cards to claim more than 128MB of PCI Pre-Fetchable
		memory.
		
		Corrected an issue where some third party USB devices were causing
		the system to hang during POST.



HOW TO USE:

1.  Obtain a formatted 1.44 MB diskette.

2.  Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to that directory.
The file that is downloaded is SP23766.EXE.

3.  From that drive and directory, execute the SoftPaq file:
SP23766 [ENTER]
You will be prompted to place the formatted 1.44 MB diskette into a diskette drive to
create diskette.

4.  After the diskette is created, you may delete the downloaded file
SP23766.EXE if you wish.
