HOW TO USE:

1. Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive. The file downloaded is a 
self-extracting executable with a filename based on the SoftPaq Number above.

2. From the Start menu, click the Control Panel icon.  Once the control panel window 
maximizes, click the System icon.  Browse the tabs at the top and click the Hardware tab.  
Find the Device Manager section and click the Device Manager button.  

3. After Device Manager opens, find the Network Adapters icon and expand it by clicking 
the plus sign.  Locate the Compaq Wireless USB Adapter and click your right mouse button.  
Click Update Driver. The Hardware Update Wizard will appear. 

4. Make sure 'Install hardware automatically' is selected and click 'Next'.  
(If you wish, you can select 'Install from a list or specific location', and point the 
wizard directly to the folder in which the new drivers reside.)

5. After Windows finds the drivers, follow any on-screen prompts as they are installed.
