DESCRIPTION:
This SoftPaq contains the Systems Software Upgrade Package for the Compaq
TaskSmart W2200 family of servers.  The SoftPaq contains an advanced RPM
based installer containing many sub-packages.  This upgrade package will
install / upgrade several packages and fixes, automatically, in the proper
order, freeing the administrator from tedious multi-rpm installations.
Installation is carried out through the web based Web Server Configuration
Application.  The SoftPaq includes a README file with step-by-step
installation instructions.
	
ENHANCEMENTS/FIXES:
All known major issues have been resolved.  Please refer to the TaskSmart
W2200 1.01 Release Notes for a list of current outstanding issues.  After
installing the upgrade, the release notes can be accessed by logging into
the Web Server Configuration Application as system administrator and
selecting the release notes link.

HOW TO USE:
1) Download the SoftPaq to a directory on your hard drive and change to
that directory.  The file that is downloaded is a tgz file with a filename
based on the SoftPaq Number.

2) From that drive and directory, type the following to extract the
downloaded file:

tar zxvf sp17823.tgz

The RPM and README files will be created in the current directory.

3) After the RPM is extracted, you may delete the SoftPaq file
downloaded in step one.

4) Refer to the README for installation instructions.

5) After the installation is completed, you may delete the files unpacked
in step 2.
