Troubleshooting the Curriculum Resource CD Topic Index
If you are using a shortcut on the desktop to access the CD Topic Index, check to be sure that the icon for the Essentials_Resource_CD file says that it is a shortcut and not a copy of the original file. If it does not say Shortcut to Essentials_Resource_CD and/or have an arrow on the icon, delete the icon and repeat the steps for Creating a Shortcut.
Check to be sure you have the minimum requirements for the Internet browser.
If problems persist, access the files directly. See the section on Accessing Files without Using the CD Topic Index.

Note: If you are opening a Microsoft Word* file from the CD and you have other Microsoft Word files open on your computer, using the Back button will return you to one of your open Microsoft Word files, rather than the CD Topic Index.
