This very simple menu2 mod adds an additional menu called Sub Menu. Using this
site block mod, it is possible to have a secondary menu with links you want to
use without the need for a variables.php file. This should be insereted into
the blocks directory of your eFiction 3.5.x install.

Caveat: You would have to add 'menu2' to every skin you have in styles.css and
index.tpl, with or without the variables.php file.

Another note: You can subsequently have more than two menus without the
variables.php file. An example will be menu3. Here's how:

1. Copy the menu2 directory and rename it to menu3
2. Modify two files: admin.php and init.php
   a. admin.php - Lines 22, 23, 80, and 81: Change 'menu2' to 'menu3'
   b. init.php - Lines 29 and 30: Changes 'menu2' to 'menu3', and 'Sub Menu' to
      a title of your choice
3. Save each one
4. Initialize the new block in Admin > Blocks
5. Switch it to Active and save
6. Click Options next to the new menu3 block and highlight the page links you
   want and save
7. Modify the skins for the third menu
