Chapter 4: Sonic Capture

It is Saturday, June 11, 2050, and it is 12:17 AM. Sonette runs into Sonic's room, where he is playing video games since they even left the three. He is chanting in his normal tone while playing Sonic 1, "Must... get... last... Emerald..." Sonette says, "How long have you been on there!?" "An hour, a minute, and a second, and I'm going to bed," replies Sonic sleepily. "It was actually 4 hours, 47 minutes, and 24 seconds and ticking. This is what happens when you play video games all night. I'll just go over here..." The TV and game cut off just before she gets to it. "Huh?" says confused Sonette. "My game!! My beautiful game!! What happened to my game!?!?" Sonic is yelling and crying over his "beautiful" progress on his game. When he looks at Sonette, she is on her knees, and her hands are in front of her on the floor. She forgot that she has a concussion. She says weakly, "Sonic, you should go downstairs to see what caused the power outage." Sonic says, "Power outage?" Sonette continues, "Knuckles is told to search, capture, and unleash your evil side." Sonic understands.

It is 12:19 AM. Sonic goes downstairs and sees Knux with Knuckles. Him and his current plans, so he yells, "Sonic Speed!" rushes downstairs and runs around Knuckles and Knux when he sees them. Sonic stops in his tracks and says, "So you are Knuckles and Knux. So Knuckles, snap out of it, and Knux, you're going to get it from me!!" and starts running around Knux. He smirks and then thinks, "Yeah, right!" and trips Sonic while he was running. "Whoa!" he says and goes flying into Knuckles, and they both crash into a wall HARD. Sonic gets up and is very dizzy. Knuckles is unconscious. He says, "Knux!!! I'll get you!" Sonic runs up to Knux and manages to grasp him by the shoulders, attempting to push him down to the floor but couldn't. Knux is resisting Sonic's attempt by doing the same thing as Sonic. He laughs evilly and says, "You're defeated, Sonic! Admit it!" "You're wrong, Knux!!" Sonic says, punches him in the face, and body slams him. He walks up to him and says, "Next time, don't try to capture me again!" and heads for the fuse box.

Later, at the Power Control Room, Sonic and Knuckette are inspecting the fuse box. The problem was that the main switch was in the 'off' position. "That was it?!" she yells and leaves before Sonic turns on the switch. He says, "There!" It is yet unknown to Sonic is that Knux is back, sneaking up behind Sonic, ready to capture him until he turns around and sees Knux with his knife. Sonic gets startled immediately. Knux says, "Well, Sonic, you thought you've defeated me?" He then brings out his knife and threatens, "Okay, Sonic!! Where's Tails?" Sonic fakes, "I know nothing of Tails!" Knux yells, "You want to play games, Sonic?" Sonic says, "Yes!" and runs off. Knux stays and hears Sonic yell, "Let me go! Knuckles!" Knux says, "Hm. Let's go." "No!" is heard. Knux growls and approaches them. Sonic yells, "I can't believe this! Knux is bossing you around--" "Shut up!" and slaps Sonic with his back hand, and four marks remain on his face. Knuckles will only leave two marks. Knux says evilly, "If you want to play games, play them with Revenge! Let's go!" growls, and they leave.
